Her Own Hero

Her Own Hero by Neha Hood

Her courage was withering, hopes were burning alive.

Things were falling apart, no reason was left to strive.
She was a fallen star of the cosmos, her broken pieces didn’t make a noise.

She was trapped in her own chaos, couldn’t hear her own voice.
Her eyes spoke a thousand words, the tears witnessed the pain; just like the harvest suffered, cause of that unpredictable summer rain.

Her scars screamed for justice, she then soared like a blazing flame. Defeating all her failures, a supernova she became.

She was a legend for her bravery was immeasurable, we can see it ourselves.
She wished for a hero, so she became one herself!

Hello, dear readers! I’m Neha Hood, a 25-yr-old dreamer from India, pursuing masters in English literature.

I find bliss in every little thing around and something that gives me sheer delight is the joy of writing. To write not only for myself, but to make my voice echo forever through my words is what I wish for. I believe, the greatest power been gifted to mankind is that of having the ability to put ones’ ideas before the whole world!

Apart from writing,  I like doodling, cooking and listening to music. I want you all to take a dive into the ocean of my thoughts which I try to put in words on my blog @_neha_hood_
