People on Paper by Francesca Mari
What if I drew people on paper,
Would I get all the details?
The speckles in their eyes
The frown upon dark skies
The golden hours of those days
What about origami of people on paper,
Would they be easier to unfold?
The dotted lines path for scissors
The bullies becoming mere lizards
The living turned in fragile figures
How can I tame people on paper
When difficulty unites them
Amd loss males them stronger?
I can’t do more than admire them
Lost in their infinite boredom
Gifting fragments of freedom
I will write,
Letting the pen dance
Unafraid of the consequence
Flashes of time without ends
Letting Fate play with Chance
I will write
About people
On paper
